Association of Arab Universities 39Strengthening AArU Collaboration with ElsevierProf. Anas Ratib Alsoud, the executive director of the Association of Arab Universities have met today with Mohamed Amir, Senior Regional Manager for Research Intelligence at Elsevier, to review the ongoing partnership between Elsevier and the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and to explore practical solutions that serve Arab universities.The discussion focused on how data-driven tools and capacity-building can help member institutions:The meeting also explored joint initiatives such as a regional benchmarking dashboard, a training series for VPs for Research, librarians, and IR oflces, and pilot projects to improve data integration and institutional repositories.AArU is grateful to Elsevier team for their constructive engagement. We look forward to translating these ideas into programs that deliver measurable value for our member universities.
