42A Delegation from the Smart University College for Modern Education in Palestine Visits the General Secretariat of the Association of Arab UniversitiesAssociation of Arab UniversitiesThe General Secretariat of the Association of Arab Universities (AARU) in Amman received a delegation from the Smart University College for Modern Education in Palestine, headed by Prof. Dr. Asia Al-Qawasmi, with the aim of strengthening academic cooperation and exploring partnership opportunities in modern education and smart learning.During the meeting, the two sides discussed avenues for collaboration in academic training, exchange of expertise, participation in conferences, and joint projects organized by the Association. They also emphasized the importance of keeping pace with rapid developments in digital education and artificial intelligence, as well as the role of higher education institutions in fostering innovation and developing students%u2019 skills in alignment with global trends.In this context, H.E. Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, aflrmed the Association%u2019s commitment to supporting Palestinian universities and enhancing their presence at both Arab and international academic levels. He stressed that smart education has become a key pillar in advancing higher education systems. His Excellency stated: %u201cWe welcome this valued visit and look forward to building effective cooperation programs with the Smart University College for Modern Education, in a way that promotes the exchange of expertise, develops academic staff capabilities, and keeps pace with the rapid transformations in technology-driven education.%u201dFor her part, Prof. Dr. Asia Al-Qawasmi expressed her appreciation for the significant role played by the Association of Arab Universities in supporting higher education institutions across the Arab region. She aflrmed the college%u2019s commitment to developing strong partnership and cooperation ties with the Association, in service of students and the educational process as a whole.
