25Preparatory Meeting for hosting the 2nd India%u2013Arab Universities Presidents%u2019 Conference at Ajman UniversityAssociation of Arab UniversitiesOn Friday morning, His Excellency Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, accompanied by Prof. Anas Ratib Alsoud, Executive Director of the Association, and Ms. Lina Albitar, Director of General Administration, paid an oflcial visit to Ajman University.They were warmly received by Prof. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, and his distinguished leadership team. The meeting came as part of the preparations for the 2nd India%u2013Arab Universities Presidents%u2019 Conference, which will be hosted by Ajman University in the United Arab Emirates on 11%u201312 February 2026.This conference represents a significant milestone in the journey of academic cooperation, jointly organized by the Association of Arab Universities, the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the Ministry of External Affairs of India, the University Grants Commission (UGC), and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It aims to build on themomentum of the first edition held earlier this year in New Delhi and to further strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions across the Arab world and India.H.E. Prof. Salama expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Prof. Karim Seghir for his visionary leadership and continued support, and to Ajman University for its pioneering role in building a bridge between Arab and Indian higher education through this important initiative.The Association looks forward to another landmark academic gathering that will further strengthen academic, cultural, and research ties between the two regions.
