24Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities Participates in the Celebration Honoring Dr. Khaled El-Anany at Helwan UniversityAssociation of Arab UniversitiesH.E. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU), participated in the celebration organized by Helwan University to honor Prof. Dr. Khaled El-Anany on the occasion of his election by UNESCO%u2019s Executive Board as Director-General of the Organization.The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; H.E. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports; H.E. Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education; H.E. Dr. Ahmed Fouad Henawy, Minister of Culture; and Prof. Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Helwan University, along with a number of distinguished academic leaders.During the event, Dr. Salama expressed his great pride in this outstanding achievement, describing it as an honor for Egypt and the Arab world.
