                                    Association of Arab Universities 29Dr. Alsoud further emphasized that the Association of Arab Universities attaches great importance to supporting medical and veterinary sciences by establishing Arab research networks, encouraging international partnerships, and building the capacity of veterinarians to use modern technologies in diagnosis, prevention, and strengthening Arab food security. He stressed that the conference provides a unique platform for the convergence of Arab and international expertise to anticipate the future of veterinary medicine in the digital era.For his part, Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, welcomed the participants, afflrming that artificial intelligence has become a cornerstone of progress in various fields, and that the veterinary profession represents a safeguard for public health and a guarantee of food security.The conference was attended by several presidents of Egyptian and Arab universities, heads of veterinary associations from across the Arab world, and representatives of international organizations (including the World Organisation for Animal Health and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), alongside distinguished academic and research leaders.The conference will continue over three days, featuring scientific sessions and panel discussions exploring the latest applications of artificial intelligence in veterinary medicine, and concluding with practical recommendations to advance veterinary education and enhance its role in serving societies.
