Association of Arab Universities 25On Thursday, 25 September 2025, a joint meeting was held via Zoom, bringing together the Experts Committee of the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and the experts of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). The meeting focused on the implementation phase of the %u201cArab Qualifications Framework%u201d Project.During the session, participants discussed a comprehensive work plan and practical mechanisms to ensure the transition from the theoretical preparation phase to the actual implementation of the project. Key discussions included defining roles and responsibilities, establishing a timeline for completion, reviewing outcomes of previous meetings, and coordinating efforts among all relevant parties.The project aims to establish a unified Arab reference framework for academic and professional qualifications, contributing to the enhancement of higher education quality and ensuring alignment with labor market needs. It also facilitates degree equivalency and mutual recognition of qualifications across Arab countries.
