Association of Arab Universities 23The Association of Arab Universities Conducts Training Courses to Support Iraqi Higher Education InstitutionsThe Association of Arab Universities, in collaboration with the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has organized a series of specialized training courses aimed at supporting and advancing Iraqi higher education institutions.The courses were held at Kilikamish Private University in the Republic of Iraq. The first course, focusing on the QS World University Rankings and QS Arab Region University Rankings, took place from 22 to 23 September 2025. It was presented by distinguished experts: Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Khouly, Director of the International Ranking Center and Director of Central Units at Delta University for Science and Technology, Egypt, and Prof. Sergi Khristoliubov, Regional Director at QS Quacquarelli Symonds.The second course, covering the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and Times Arab Region University Rankings, was held from 24 to 25 September 2025. It was delivered by Prof. Dr. Tarek El-Khouly, Director of the International Ranking Center and Director of Central Units at Delta University for Science and Technology, Egypt.These initiatives reffiect the commitment of the Association of Arab Universities to enhance the capabilities of Iraqi universities and promote excellence in higher education across the Arab region.
