Association of Arab Universities 18He further noted that the Association of Arab Universities, which comprises more than 450 member universities across the Arab world, plays a pivotal role in advancing higher education through pioneering initiatives such as the Arab University Rankings, quality assurance and scientific publishing projects, as well as building strategic partnerships with international universities and organizations.The Secretary-General highlighted the remarkable achievements in Arab%u2013Russian cooperation, which have resulted in the signing of more than 200 academic agreements and the publication of hundreds of joint research papers, in addition to the establishment of branches of Russian universities in Arab countries, and a notable increase in student exchanges between both sides.In conclusion, he stressed that scientific and cultural diplomacy is not a luxury but a strategic necessity in a world facing accelerating crises. He reafflrmed the Association of Arab Universities%u2019 commitment to expanding international partnerships and strengthening the role of universities in shaping a future grounded in understanding, innovation, and shared human consciousness.
