Strategic Meeting Between the Association of Arab Universities and AACSB to Advance Business Education in the Arab WorldOn the sidelines of the AACSB International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM 2025), held in Vienna from 7%u20139 April 2025, a high-level strategic meeting was held to advance cooperation between the Association of Arab Universities and AACSB International.The meeting brought together Ms. Lily Bi, President and CEO of AACSB; Dr. Geoff Perry, Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific; Prof. Eileen McAuliffe, Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa; and Mr. Ihsan Zakri, Vice President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. The Association of Arab Universities was represented by Professor Dr. Anas Alsoud, Executive Director of the Association.This meeting follows the landmark partnership agreement signed in January 2025 by His Excellency Professor Amr Salama, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities, and Ms. Lily Bi, President and CEO of AACSB.The discussion focused on the implementation of a joint action plan to support Arab business schools in their journey toward achieving AACSB accreditation.
