Through its 2019%u20132030 strategic plan, the Association aims to support higher education in the Arab world and promote scientific research and innovation, with a focus on keeping pace with developments in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and artificial intelligence. Additionally, the Association prioritizes achieving sustainable development goals through the establishment of specialized councils and centers, such as the Arab Council for Sustainable Development, which strengthens universities%u2019 role in community service and links higher education with economic and social conditions.His Excellency Professor Dr. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Sulami, President of King Khalid University, affirmed that the university is aligning its strategy with the development strategy of the Asir region by enhancing academic programs and specialized research centers. He noted that universities play a fundamental role in supporting development through research and innovation.The forum featured several research papers and panel discussions.
