During the first Indian-Arab Universities%u2019 Presidents%u2019 Conference held on the 5th and 6th of February 2025 in New Delhi, a strategic collaboration agreement was signed between the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and the Association Of Indian Universities (AIU), marking a significant step toward fostering academic partnerships and enhancing higher education cooperation between the Arab world and India.The agreement was signed by H.E. Prof. Amr Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities and Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak, President of the Association of Indian Universities.This partnership will serve as a foundation for joint academic programs, faculty and student exchanges, collaborative research initiatives, and knowledge-sharing between universities in both regions. By leveraging our shared commitment to excellence in higher education, we aim to enhance innovation, scientific research, and global engagement across institutions.The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Yousef Mohammed Abdullah Jameel, Head of the Arab League Mission to India, Prof. Anas Ratib Alsoud, Executive Director of the Association of Arab Universities, Dr. Faraj Al-Ajami, Director of Education and Scientific Research at the League of Arab States, Lina Albitar, Director of General Administration at the Association of Arab Universities.Strengthening Academic Ties Between the Arab and Indian Higher Education Sectors14 by Association of Arab Universities
