The Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, His Excellency Professor Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, participated in the Future Directions Forum, titled \and Sustainable Development,\concluded its activities at King Khalid University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The forum, which saw broad participation from international experts, explored the role of universities in achieving sustainable development, enhancing the knowledge economy, and promoting research innovation in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.During the forum, which was attended by Dr. Anas Al-Soud, the Executive Director of the Association of Arab Universities, Lina Al-Bitar, the Director of Administration, and Dr. Waleed Salama, the Association%u2019s Advisor, Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama stated:\this esteemed academic and intellectual gathering, which embodies the importance of joint efforts between academic and governmental institutions to achieve sustainable development and reinforce the role of universities as hubs of expertise contributing to shaping a bright future for future generations.\He emphasized that universities are not merely educational institutions but also centers of knowledge dissemination and key drivers of sustainable development.
