Equally important is fostering collaboration among universities, research councils, and regional and international organizations to design innovative funding approaches%u2014whether through partnerships, research funds, or governmental and institutional support.In this regard, the Association of Arab Universities reafflrms its commitment to keeping pace with these global transformations and to working alongside its member institutions to build a unified Arab vision for open access publishing%u2014one that balances the imperatives of openness and knowledge dissemination with the requirements of sustainability and research quality. Investing in national and regional open access policies, while adopting fair and transparent funding models, represents a crucial step to ensure that Arab universities are active and inffiuential contributors to the global scientific movement.The challenge we face today is not only to make knowledge freely accessible, but also to build a sustainable system capable of supporting innovation, safeguarding researchers%u2019 rights, and consolidating the Arab presence within the global knowledge landscape. This is a shared responsibility that requires collective effort, so that knowledge remains a common good and a driver of sustainable development in our Arab societies.
