AArU Congratulates the New Chancellor of the University of Sharjah and Honors the Former ChancellorAs part of the strong academic ties between the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and the University of Sharjah, Professor Dr. Anas Ratib Al-Soud, Executive Director of the Association, paid an official visit to the university today on behalf of His Excellency Professor Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of AArU, and the General Secretariat.During the visit, Prof. Al-Soud conveyed a message of congratulations to Professor Dr. Essam Eldin Ajami on his appointment as Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, wishing him continued success in his new role and reaffirming the Association%u2019s commitment to fostering fruitful collaboration with the university under his leadership.Prof. Al-Soud also delivered a letter of appreciation to Professor Dr. Hamid Mjoul Al Nuaimi on the occasion of the conclusion of his tenure as Chancellor and his appointment as Advisor to the President of the University of Sharjah, His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi. The letter expressed sincere gratitude for Prof. Al Nuaimi%u2019s distinguished service and accomplishments, which significantly advanced the university%u2019s academic stature at both regional and international levels.This visit also comes in the context of preparations for the 58th General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, which the University of Sharjah will proudly host in April of next year.
