13China%u2013Arab Universities 10+10 Cooperation Program Annual Meeting Held in AmmanAssociation of Arab UniversitiesAmman, Jordan %u2013 October 18, 2025 The Association of Arab Universities (AArU), in cooperation with the China Association of Higher Education (CAHE), organized the annual meeting of the China%u2013Arab Universities 10+10 Cooperation Program in Amman, Jordan. The gathering brought together presidents and representatives from leading Arab and Chinese universities to review the progress achieved under the 10+10 initiative and to explore new avenues for collaboration in research, innovation, and student mobility.The opening session featured welcoming remarks by H.E. Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities; Prof. Li Jiajun, Vice Chairman of the China Association of Higher Education; and H.E. Gong Anmin, Charg%u00e9 d%u2019Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Jordan.In his address, Prof. Salama highlighted the growing success of the 10+10 Cooperation Program, describing it as %u201ca bridge of mutual learning, innovation, and friendship between two ancient civilizations.%u201d He commended the tangible outcomes of the program, including joint research in sustainable energy, student exchange programs, and the co-development of academic and scientific projects in key fields such as artificial intelligence, green technology, and cultural studies.
