Amman %u2013 On Sunday, February 2, 2025, Prof. ANAS RATIB ALSOUD, the Executive Director of the Association of Arab Universities, welcomed Prof. Karim Seghir, President of Ajman University, along with Prof. Khaled Assaleh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the accompanying delegation at the General Secretariat headquarters of the Association. The meeting was also attended by Lina Albitar, the Association%u2019s Administration Director, and Ahmed Atwa, the Financial Director.Dr. Alsoud provided an overview of the establishment and development of the Association of Arab Universities, highlighting key initiatives currently undertaken by the organization. These include the Arab University Ranking Project, the Unified Arab Qualifications Framework, and the Arab Journals Platform.He also expressed his aspirations for a strategic partnership with Ajman University, recognizing it as a leading academic institution that has achieved significant scientific accomplishments, strengthening its distinguished global reputation. Dr. Alsoud outlined his strategic vision for the Association, under the guidance of H.E. Dr. Amr Salama, Secretary-General of the Association, in collaboration with over 450 member universities from 22 Arab countries.Dr. Seghir commended the Association%u2019s role and its continuous efforts in enhancing the quality of higher education in the Arab world.
