Prof. Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf %u2013 President of the University of BaghdadThe rapid developments in artificial intelligence not only impact the nature and methods of education, but also extend to the horizons of scientific research, the labor market, ethics, and cybersecurity. Therefore, we believe that the Association of Arab Universities, with its institutional legacy and accumulated expertise, is the ideal instrument to face these challenges through role integration and unification of visions. This highlights the importance of constructive cooperation among Arab universities, as working in isolation is no longer sufficient to keep up with this acceleration. Academic partnerships, knowledge exchange, and the establishment of joint Arab research networks represent the optimal path to achieving integration and maximizing the benefits of these advanced technologies. We must work together to build strategic frameworks that govern the use of artificial intelligence in education and research, ensuring the promotion of sustainable development while preserving the human and societal values we cherish. His Excellency Professor Dr. Faraj Al-Ajmi %u2013 Commissioner at the League of Arab StatesHigher education stands among the most distinguished scientific and educational institutions, playing a fundamental role in advancing research and development in nations striving for growth and prosperity. Today, investing in the development of universities is no longer a matter of choice, but an absolute necessity.06 by Association of Arab Universities
