Allow me to express my great gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful and distinguished efforts you made in organizing the 57th session of the conference, which was hosted by the International University in the sister State of Kuwait. The conference was at the highest level of hospitality and warmth, reflecting the professionalism of the General Secretariat in collaboration with the International University - Kuwait. This contributed to achieving great successes for this prominent event, with the attendance and representation of more than 350 universities, indicating the consensus and recognition of the members of the association for the enormous efforts made by His Excellency the Secretary-General and the association's team to serve the member universities.The richness of the topics discussed during the conference, from developing higher education systems, enhancing research partnerships, and improving university outputs in line with sustainable development goals, emphasized the great importance of these meetings in supporting the journey of Arab higher education. There is no doubt that the momentum accompanying the beginning of this session indicates thestrengthening of cooperation and integration among our academic institutions and their active participation in the association's activities.Sincere thanks and appreciation to you and the team at the General Secretariat for the wonderful and fruitful efforts that everyone praised. As for the State of Kuwait, its noble people overwhelmed us with their elegance, Arabism, and genuine generosity. The International University for Science and Technology, represented by the Chairman of its Board of Trustees, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Barakat Al-Hadiban, is the best example that reflects the noble people of Kuwait and the beloved State of Kuwait. This meeting left a great impact on us, making us ambassadors for this sister state, conveying the good treatment, generous hospitality, and sincere love we received from everyone we met. We are honored that this meeting is a good start for fruitful and constructive cooperation for the benefit of Arab higher education. We thank the Association of Arab Universities, represented by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Amr Salama, and all the administrative staff of the association for their good efforts in making this conference successful and fruitful. The highest goal of this meeting is to see our brothers, the presidents of Arab universities, whom we cherish and are proud of.
